This slide shows a magnified view of a  multipolar  neuron from the spinal cord.   Note the cell body with its prominent nucleus and nucleolus and the origin of  cell processes called axons and dendrites.   The numerous small, darkly stained dots are the nuclei of glial cells, primarily astrocytes.
