My Website

On this website you will find information about one of California's strangest looking rodents: Botta's Pocket Gopher. Otherwise known as Thomomys bottae.  As you will find out from this website, the Pocket Gopher shares its habitat with an entire ecosystem of other organisms. Many of thesee have been studied by other Biology students and have websites of their own that can be found through UW-La Crosse's home page. I hope you enjoy your time digging through our website and finding out about a gopher that is, unfortunately, too big to fit into pockets.
