Mellivora capensis: The 'not so sweet' Honey Badger

In an African terrain filled with ferocious predators at every turn, only one animal stands as the true king. Many may believe this to be this to be the mounstrous lion, though the honey badger truly stands supreme. Despite its small stature, the honey badger is one of the most feared animals of its habitat, due to its fearless nature and tenacious attitude. The honey badger has many miraculous characteristics that allow it to stand tall with the other beasts of its environment such as surprisingly thick skin and even immunity to snake venom (as seen in the video below). With these factors in consideration, the Mellivora capensis truly is one intriguing species.
