Kronosaurus queenlandicus was strictly carniverous, all teeth that have been found are for

catching and holding prey (Renneboog, 2011).  No teeth have been discovered that suggestCretaceous Giant Squid

Kronosaurus ate any type of

vegetation!  In fact, the teeth had

evolved for tearing huge chunks of flesh

off prey rather than chewing (Everhart,

structured well for crushing shells of
