Tiffany Nelson My name is Tiffany Nelson and I am a sophomore majoring in Biology with a concentratin of Biomedical Science, a minor in chemistry, and a second attended minor in sociology. After I finish my undergraduate degree, I plan on attending medical school and pursuing family medicine with the possibility of providing and studying medicine globally. I wrote the Adaptation, Reproduction, and Habitat pages, along with additional help for the Home and Contact page. What interested me was Cryptosporidium parvum's impact it had on my home state of Wisconsin in relation to public health. I find it fascinating to learn about the microorganisms that live inside us! I hope you enjoyed our webiste! You can contact me at:

My name is Mariah Weiland-Duchow and I am a sophomore here at UW-L.  I am double majoring in both Psychology and Communications.  After I finish my undergraduate degree, I plan on entering graduate school to persue a career in Pediatric Speech-Language Pathology.
I am from Baraboo, Wisconsin which is home to beautiful Devils Lake where my family and I spend some time hiking and fishing.  When I am not a hard working college student, I like to hunt, fish, shop, and play many different types of sports with volleyball being a personal favorite.  I like to think of myself as an adventurous type of person!
I wrote the interactions with other species, classification, and interesting facts pages, with contributions to the home and contact page of this website.  Cryptosportidium parvum was really interesting to research as it is found in one of the resources we consume and interact with everyday, water!  I also found it fascinating how it impacted our very own state some years ago.  I hope that you enjoy our website and feel free to contact me at:    weiland-.mari@uwlax.edu
