Llama


The Llama is the largest South American member of the camel family. It is related to the Alpaca and Vicuna, and is descended from the Guanaco (L. guanaco). It bears no hump and has thick, long hair that can be of various colors. Pictured above is Yoda, a male llama who lives at Ochsner Park & Zoo in Baraboo, WI.
