My name is Michael Connor. I an currently a sophomore at the University of Wisconsin Lacrosse study biology. I designed this page as part of an assignment for an organisamal Biology class I am enrolled in.  I chose this Species because I always thought, until recently, that the common water snakes i always saw by the Lemonware River near my home were venomous Agkistrodon piscivorus. Upon being in this class and talking to a few other people on campus I realized that I was growing up with a false identification of this organism and that I had no reason to avoid/be scared of this non venomous snake in my hometown of New Lisbon Wisconsin. I then decided to chose this as my topic of discussion for this webpage.
