Maggie

Maggie is my 11 year old shitz-u dog.  They say a cat has nine lives, but after watching Maggie for 11 years I know the phrase is not limited to cats.  Running away from home and spending a night in the woods, almost being eaten by a dog eight times her size, drinking ice cold marine anti-freeze on a hot day, and jumping off a pontoon like a lifeguard on Baywatch are just of few of her near death experiences.  Aside from her death defying side, Maggie is a pretty quiet dog.  Her day consists mainly of sleeping, eating, chasing squirrels, and occasionally snacking on delicious rabbit turds.  Maggie is a real trickster as she can sit, roll over, give high fives, and occasionally play dead (only after we give her a prescribed pill when she has panic attacks).  Overall Maggie is a fun loving dog and enjoys being around people.
