These social creatures are decked out with their reddish-grey backs and white underbelly, white fox-like faces with black eye patches, and black muzzle. Ring-tailed lemurs stand 10 to 12inches tall from head to toe with a 14 to 16 inch tail, weighing 6.5 to 7.75 pounds.  Their signature black and white striped tail sets them aside from all other lemurs.
