The longest reticulated python is documented at 33 feet!
Sometimes
pythons will try to eat animals that are too large (leopards, deer)...
this can result in a seriously life-threatening situation for the snake
I chose this organisms because of its length, and because of the variety and size of the prey it consumes.
The python is closely related to boas, which can also reach incredible lengths.
The reticulated python is non venomous.
Python reticulatus (like all snakes) is not slimy.
(People may often think of snakes as being slimy, when they are
probably confused between eels or other morphologically similar animals)
