The King of Waterfowl
The Mallard is one of the most recognizable birds across the globe. It can be found almost anywhere in the northern hemisphere. They have long been the favorite of hunters everywhere. The Mallard has survived and thrived in great numbers for many years. Its greatest threat is not necessarily excessive hunting, but loss of its habitat and nesting areas. To be out in nature and hear a flock of Mallards fly overhead, hearing only the wind against their wings, is truly magnificent.
