Smooth Coil
Welcome to the world of Lucilla singleyana! This snail is commonly called the Smooth Coil snail. It is a tiny land snail that is found in Wisconsin that is only two to three millimeters long. The Smooth Coil has a smooth, slightly tinged yellow shell that has prominent, raised spiral lines with a whorl that is flattened at its base. This snail is also a rare species. Because of its relative rarity and tiny stature, there is not a vast collection of information about Lucilla singleyana. However, I have done my best to compile all the facts about this species, such as where it lives, what it eats, its classification, and its interactions with other animals. There are also photos in the Gallery. If you would like to know more about me, please visit the Contact Me page. Enjoy!
