Compared to an elephant, bear, and even a dog, a snail may seem too small to be that important to the world.  But wait!  Each and every snail comes in a variety of shapes, sizes, and colors and are truly unique organisms.  With their muscular foot, tentacles, and colorful shells they are just as important as any other animal on this planet.  Now if you hate slimy things, this may all seem very untrue, BUT if you set aside your animosities for just a bit to learn about one very special species, Triodopsis vulgata, I assure you will not be disappointed!
