All about the snail, Patera clenchi!

Welcome to the Patera clenchi webpage! This webpage provides information regarding Patera clenchi. It is a terrestrial land snail known as the calico rock oval and it is also synonymous with Mesodon clenchi, the middle-toothed land snail.

You will discover the habitat, adaptation, nutrition, reproduction, and other interactions regarding this snail or the family it is contained in. This is an endangered species with little information known about it, so often, the family Polygyridae or genus Patera is discussed in broader detail.
