Welcome

This website contains information on Allogona lombardii, commonly known as the Selway Forest snail. To the side you will find links to pages containing information on many important aspects of this snail’s life. We spent many hours researching this particular species, only to discover that the Allogona lombardii are rare and very much endangered. We only found a few pictures of the A. lombardii, so we decided to add some other pictures of its very close relative and less endangered living snail A. townsendiana, for some examples. The Allogona lombardii resides in the state of Idaho and that is where we lead into our classification of this snail Classification
