About me

Thank you for viewing my page!

Hey there! My name is Lauren McLean and I am a sophomore at University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. I am majoring in nursing and hopefully in the future possibly attending PA (physician assistant) or medical school. I grew up all over Wisconsin. Currently, home is Sun Prairie, just outside of Madison. In my free time I love to run, read, watch movies, go hiking, and hang out with my family and friends.

I really hoped you enjoyed my webpage on Sialis velata. Creating this webpage is something I have never done before and really enjoyed learning how it all works while reading up on an insect I knew little about. I’m not a big fan of bugs, but I hope you found this alderfly as interesting as I did when I was researching it! For those of you who fish, keep an eye out for this species if you use flies for bait!

Don’t forget to look at my classmates’ webpages as well at MultipleOrganisms.net! You can also find more information about our biology department on the UWL webpage. Thanks!
