Is it a sabertooth?
Now extinct Barbourofelis fricki lived during the Early Hemphillian stage (to learn more about their habitat and interactions). They diet was hypercarnivorous and they had highly adapted front canine teeth (to learn more about their adaptations). Barbourofelis fricki may have used their giant front teeth to slash their prey and because of their strength Barbourofelis fricki might have been able to attach predators much larger than them. Just like humans, they are a part of the mammal class (to learn more about their classification).
Figure H1: Actual fossil of Barbourofelis fricki. Hard to miss those GIANT teeth!
