Hello, my name is Jesse Hahn. I am a student here at the
University of Wisconsin- La Crosse. I am a Biology major and may
end up pursuing Chemistry minor. I have declared that I would
like to pursue my education into graduate school and become a
Dentist someday. This website was made for my Organismal Biology
class and to look more into the widely known army ant
Eciton burchellii. I
am from the small town of Ainsworth, Iowa. It has a population
of only a little over 500 people. My highschool is made from
combining the two really small towns of Ainsworth and Riverside.
I have always been an athlete and love the thrill of
competition. I am now apart of the nationally ranked University
of Wisconsin-La Crosse wrestling team. I wrestle at 141 pounds
and will compete in a number of competitions from
November, 2013 through March, 2014. When not working on homework or studying, most
of my time is spent practicing for the sport that I am so
passionate about. Although it may seem like there would not be
much time for anything but school and wrestling, I do have other
hobbies that I enjoy. I am an avid outdoorsman and like to go
hunting, fishing, boating, and fourwheeling. If you need to
contact me you can reach me through email at
hahn.jess@uwlax.edu.

Hey there! My name is Evan Miller. I am currently an
undergraduate student at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse.
I am majoring in Biology with prospects for Physician’s
Assistant graduate school. I was born and raised in La Crosse,
a local student to the university. I used to run Cross-Country and play baseball,
and have hobbies like fishing and computer hardware assembly. I
also play the cello. Jesse and I ultimately made this website
in dedication to our Organismal Biology course in the fall of
2013 and to inform the public of the Eciton burchellii species
of ant. You can reach me at
millerevan533@gmail.com.
