Aren't the grasses such wonderful organisms? You'll be surprised to hear that there are more species of grass than you probably know of. One of which is Bromus hordeaceus, more commonly known as Soft Chess, Soft Cheat, and Bull Grass. We will refer to Bromus hordeaceus with these common names very frequently as you look at our website!

Bromus hordeaceus is a weed, much like many other grasses, and it's invasive to most of its nonnative areas and can be a very large problem for farmers in those areas.
