Clibanarius tricolor
Hello and welcome! We are so glad that you decided to stop by
and enjoy the colorful world of the Clibanarius tricolor.
The name Clibanarius tricolor may not mean anything to
anyone at all. However, if one were to use the names blue leg
hermit crab, tricolor hermit crab, equal handed hermit crab, or
blue-legged hermit crab one might be able to now understand what
you are talking about. This may be due to the fact that this
colorful crab is not only found exclusively in the wild, but
also in many common households! That’s right. There’s a good
chance that you or someone you know may own a species of hermit
crab and have it as a pet in their house right now. But how are
these beautiful creatures found? Where do they come from? What
makes them so desirable to own? How do they live and survive?
Find all of that information out and more by exploring your way
through our website. We hope that you have as much fun learning
about this amazing little marine organism as we did. To navigate
