Hi there! I'm Ellie Wiseman and I worked on the Habitat, Interactions, Nutrition and Facts pages. I am a freshman at UW- La Crosse majoring in Clinical Lab Science with a Microbiology minor. I'm taking Organismal Biology with Dr. Snively and Dr. Volk and we were asked to pick our favorite organism and make a website about it. Anneka and I chose Mimosa pudica or The Sensitive Plant. It moves when you touch it and lives in low nutrient soil what could be more interesting than that?

I'm taking Organismal Biology with Dr. Snively and Dr. Volk and we were asked to pick our favorite organism and make a website about it. Ellie and I chose Mimosa pudica or The Sensitive Plant. It's toxic to most animals except sheep and is symbiotic with a nitrogen fixing bacteria what could be more interesting than that?
