Binomial Nomenclature: the modern system we use today to name organisms, binomial meaning "two names," includes the organim's genus (capitalisized) and species (both italisized)            Example: Proserpinus clarkiae

Taxonomy: naming, classifying, and identifying different organisms
Triploblastic: three tissue types or germ layers consisting of the ectoderm, endoderm, and mesoderm
Tympanal Organ: hearing organ for insects
Vestigial: something that used to be bigger in size or more noticeable
