Binomial Nomenclature:
the modern system we use
today to name organisms, binomial meaning "two names," includes
the organim's genus (capitalisized) and species (both
italisized)

Fitness: reproductive output
Foothills: low hill at the beginning of mountains

Spermatophore: protein build up of sperm that is
released in multiple insects
Sphinx: the mythical creature in Egypt shaped
like a half-lion, half-man that is known to keep secrets and
tell riddles
Taxonomy: naming, classifying, and
identifying different organisms
Triploblastic: three tissue types or germ
layers consisting of the ectoderm, endoderm, and mesoderm
Tympanal Organ: hearing organ for insects
Vestigial: something that used to be bigger in
size or more noticeable
