Whether you love to fish, or only occasionally, this is the place to find out more about one of the good tasting fish known to man! Everyone has had that time in the middle of a relaxing day on the water where there is nothing to do but to relax. Suddenly your pole starts to twitch and you realize that you have something! Luckily for you the yellow perch on the line isn't a fighter, all you want it for is a nice dinner.

The Yellow Perch is known in the scientific community as Perca flavescens. According to fishermen, it is known by many names such as

Striped Perch or even Jack Perch. Either way, this ever so interesting fish is most known for how good it tastes and is much sought after.
