                About Me

My name is Sara Osterbrink and I am currently a freshman at the University of Wisconsin La Crosse. I am a declared Biology major with a concentration in Biomedical sciences. After graduating with my four year degree, I plan on going to graduate school to become a surgical physicians assistant.
I grew up in the small town of Eland, Wisconsin. I am the youngest of two children in my family. I enjoy hunting, fishing, sports, listening to music, and hanging out with friends.
I created this website as a requirement for my Organismal Biology class this year. I chose the Eastern Prickly Pear Cactus because when thinking about the plant life in Wisconsin, cacti are not
usually the first things that come to mind. You normally picture these plants in hot, desert regions.
I wanted to learn more about this interesting species
found right here in Wisconsin.
