Hello, My name is Kristina Stevenson. I am currently 19 years old and a junior at the University of Wisconsin - La Crosse. I have one year left until I will graduate with a Bachelors degree in Microbiology with a minor in chemistry. When I finish with my degree I hope to go on to Graduate school.
I was born in Everett, WA and lived in Granite Falls, WA for four
years. My family moved to Bloomington, MN just before I turned five
years old. I have one sister who now lives in Texas. My parents continue
to live in Bloomington. I went to Thomas Jefferson High
School, in which I participated in many activities including the
marching band and jazz band. During my junior and senior years I also
participated in the school's robotics program. Our team was a part of
the FIRST robotics program. My first year in the competition my team
made it to the national competition in Atlanta, GA.
In my spare time I enjoy: knitting, crocheting, cross stitch, sketching, badminton and playing the tenor and baritone saxophone. As a hazard of my major I take part in activities such as microbiology softball, feeding bacteria, and watering dirt.
This website was made for my organismal biology course. To view other sites made by my classmates click Multiple Organisms to the left. I chose to focus on Ecteinascidia turbinata because of its interesting morphology and vibrant colors. I have learned a great deal during my research of tunicates.
