Hamamelis virginiana
Hamamelis virginiana is the scientific name for the commonly known shrub witch hazel. This species of witch hazel can be found throughout Northeastern America and some parts of Southeastern Canada. It can reach up to roughly 16 feet in height. During late fall, witch hazel will bloom with yellowish/greenish flowers that will eventually turn a deep red color.
