The skin of sharks have a tooth-like structure; just on a smaller level.

You can see visit Blacktip Reef Sharks in aquariams, you don't have to go over to the Indo-Pacific reefs to find them. This summer the Baltimore aquarium opened a new exibit with these sharks. This is a smaller shark that strays from the thoughts of sharks that you may see in the movie JAWS.
