Tribute to the Bush Baby!

Galago senegalensis, commonly known as the lesser bush baby is a primate found in several tropical parts of the world (Rovero et al. 2009). In many pockets of Sub-Saharan Africa, it is taboo to sight this organism and keep it as a pet. This is one of the many reasons why G. senegalensis is our topic of the semester! Through this website, the classification of the bush baby, its habitat and interactions, as well as its adaptations and reproduction will be discussed in detail in hopes that the reader will be filled with knowledge about this wonderful creature. Click on the tab above called classification, to learn more about the family tree of the bush baby!
