Hi,
my name is Melanie Nielsen and I am a student at the University
of Wisconsin La Crosse. This website was a requirement for my
Organismal Biology class taught by Dr. Kathryn Perez and Dr.
Meredith Thomsen. I am majoring in biology and minoring in
Spanish and hoping to be an optometrist in the future. My
partner and I chose to do the little blue penguin for our website
because we felt we could display the skills and knowledge that
we have attained through this class the best. The pages I spent
time researching and developing were the nutrition and habitat
pages.

I
am Nick Didier a junior at the University of Wisconsin La Crosse. I am
currently enrolled in Organismal biology and took on a project to make a
website on any organism. Penguins being my favorite animal made it easy
to choose which organism I wanted to do. The little blue penguin seemed
like an interesting species so Melanie and I pursued the adventure to
making an educational website. I am currently getting a degree in
Biology with a biomedical concentration and a chemistry minor. After
graduation, I plan on applying to pharmacy school.
I am responsible for writing the Reproduction and Interactions pages.
Melanie and I worked on the Home and Classification pages together. I
hope this website is an educational and informative tool for future
