Hi! My
name is Betsy Berends and I am originally from
Medford, WI
(the home of Tombstone Pizza!). Currently, I
am a student at the
University of Wisconsin - La Crosse.
I am working towards a biomedical major with hopes of becoming an
optometrist one day (hence the fun fact about retinal degeneration among
some Amphiprion ocellaris fish!) When I'm not in class or
studying, I enjoy
swimming, biking, shopping, watching movies and spending time with
my family and friends. Some of my favorite movies include "Cool Runnings", "The Guardian" and "Finding Nemo,"
which was my inspiration
for picking the clownfish to study. This web page was created for
my Organismal Biology 203 class during the spring 2007 semester. |

I
hoped you have enjoyed learning about the clownfish! It is an
interesting fish that just likes to "clown around" among the anemones!
Since you have visited this site, you are now set to impress your
friends with interesting facts about the clownfish, which may come in
handy the next time you are watching "Finding Nemo" or walking past an
aquarium! All questions or comments may be sent to me at
berends.bets@students.uwlax.edu. |
