| My name is Elizabeth Guck, and I am originally from Ely, MN, home of the Boundary Waters Canoe Area. I am an undergraduate at the University of Wisconsin - La Crosse, majoring in cellular and molecular biology. I have been interested in science my whole life and hope to one day work in a research laboratory. |

I enjoy being outdoors, no matter what the weather brings. I also enjoy playing sports, playing board games, and hanging out with friends. I love watching Disney movies, especially with my niece. "Finding Nemo", one of my niece's favorites, inspired me to write about a marine animal. I chose the anemone because I find it to be a very interesting animal and I have had the opportunity to work with them in a personal fish tank. | |
