About the Author

Aves are the class which includes all the birds of the world. Their distinctions include feathers, and bone structures which are modified for flight. These modifications include hollow bones (to reduce weight) and a larger breast bone (for wing attachment)

Some Aves, such as penguins, do not fly. But this trait was lost overtime and their ancestors did.
