Hi! Welcome to my webpage! My name is Kirsten Boland and I am currently a freshman at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. I am majoring in biomedicine and hope to become a physician some day. I am originally from the tiny town of Seneca, Wisconsin, located about one hour south of La Crosse. I love shopping, camping, and hanging out with friends and family, especially my nephew! I made this project as a class project for my Organismal Biology class. I chose the cacao tree as my organism because, like many people, I love chocolate! There is also a great deal of mystery surrounding the cacao tree's origins, which I found very interesting! If you have any questions or comments, feel free to contact me!
