My name is Bridget Biskup and I am a student at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse.  I am currently majoring in Biomedical Sciences and plan to go on to pharmacy school.  I grew up in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and as much as I love the big city, I have also found the quaint, beautiful town of La Crosse to be quite enjoyable!  In the photo on the right, I am standing on top of Grandad's Bluff in La Crosse on a fall day, isn't the view beautiful?

This website was created as an assignment for my Organismal Biology class under the direction of Dr. Greg Sandland and Dr. Tom Volk.  I found the assignment to be a bit challenging, but it was well worth the effort.  This experience allowed me to learn about a plant that I knew little about prior to this assignment, and I hope that by visiting this page you can learn something too! I chose this organism because it has the capacity to act as a medicinal remedy, and I have a desire to pursue a career in pharmacy.

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, being outdoors, and just taking time to relax.  I am also a big fan of the Milwaukee Brewers and go to home games every chance I get.
