Habitat

Although many would think that the Vietnamese centipede is only found in Vietnam, they are found throughout tropical and sub-tropical climates.  They are mainly located in Southern Asia but have been introduced in many countries around the world.

Adult Vietnamese centipedes live on their own and become most active during the night, usually hunting for food.  During the day, they tend to be in dark, damp areas such as under rocks, logs, and in small crevices.  They prefer high humidity and warm air temperature (70-75F).
