Alison Felt
I am a freshman at the University of Wisconsin La Crosse where I am studying Clinical Lab Science and Chemistry.  I plan on working at a hospital lab where I will research and develop vaccines for various diseases or illnesses, and possibly focus on parasites in the human body. My partner and I created this page for our Organismal Biology class with instructor Barrett Kline as an informational page on a chemically defensed organism. I specifically created the pages on Habitat and Form and Function.  If you have questions or comments you are welcome to contact me at felt.alis@uwlax.edu

Megan Christophersen
I am a freshman at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. I'm a microbiology major with a concentration in biomedical sciences and am currently on the Pre-Physician Assistant track. I plan to work in a hospital or clinic setting, where I can spend my days helping others. I am from a small town in Minnesota and am very proud of my roots. I am definitely a sports fan (mostly baseball) and love attending professional games in my spare time. I also thoroughly enjoy rock climbing and spending time in the great outdoors.

Alison and I created this website for our Organismal Biology (203) course with Dr. Barrett Kline. Our duty was to find an arthropod with a chemical defense, leading us to the Red Milkweed Beetle. I specifically created the  Reproduction and Interactions pages of this website. My partner and I worked on the Home, Classification, Gallery, References, and Contact Us pages together. I hope you enjoy learning about the beetle as much as I did! Contact me at christop.mega@uwlax.edu if you have any questions or comments regarding the website.

You can contact our Organismal Biology lab instructor, Dr. Barrett Klein, by visiting his UW-L webpage or by emailing bklein@uwlax.edu. Our lecture professors are Dr. Meredith Thomsen (mthomsen@uwlax.edu) and Dr. Gregory Sandland (gsandland@uwlax.edu). Feel free to contact them by following the provided links!
