Say "Hello!" to our little friend

Trachypithecus obscurus, or T. obscurus, is the scientific name for the Dusky Leaf Monkey. This is a near-threatened species which resides mainly in Myanmar, Malaysia, and Thailand. It is considered near-threatened because its population is decreasing due to threats such as hunting and deforestation. They are hunted for food and the deforestation destroys its habitat (Boonratana et al. 2008).
