Hello!

My name is Jason Kaun and I am currently a student at the University of Wisconsin - La Crosse, majoring in Biology concentrated in Aquatic Science and minoring in environmental studies.  I have particular interest in stream ecology and spend most of my free time fishing.  I really enjoyed putting this website together; and also I learned a great deal about a primitive insect species that I knew very little about.

My name is Anna Zakem and I am a sophomore at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse studying biology and chemistry.  I am part of the Pre-med program and have a love for science!  I enjoy the outdoors and making naturalistic observations of life forms and their interactions.  Working on this project has taught me a great deal about insects, as well as taxonomy.  After completing research for this website, I have a greater understanding of evolutionary adaptations and their importance in biodiversity.  It is my hope this understanding is efficiently passed on through our site!
