- The Twin-spotted Spiketail is also know as the "Spotted Biddie".

- Where are they found?
- They are normally found throughout the Midwest in Wisconsin, Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, New York, and even Ontario just to name a few. (Dunn 1996)
- Description
- wingspan is between 80-100 mm and has a length of 64-76 mm.
- pairs of yellow, lateral spots running down the abdomen. (Arnett 1985)
- along with it's spots, the Spiketail also has two distinct yellow stripes on it's thorax
- although the female and male look very similar, females are distinguished by having a much more prominent ovipositor at the end of the abdomen. (Berger 2004)
