My name is Andrew Bradford,
and I am from Marinette, WI. I am a Junior at UW- La Crosse,
majoring in General Biology with plans for continuing college in
either Radiation Therapy or Occupational Therapy. I enjoy spending
time with my roommates doing active things such as mountain biking,
bluff hiking, and playing frisbee. On the weekend I like to go to
Mass at the Roncalli Newman Center, along with other events that are
going on there. My faith is a very important part of my life, and it
inspires me to seek knowledge whether it be theological or
biological. I remember talking to my roommate last year about the
Multiple Organisms website that he made in Animal Biology. In fact
here is a link to the webpage that he helped make for
Pelecinus polyturnator. This webpage assignment even
started a discussion about Animal Biology with my roommate. My
contributions to the website were the
Gallery,
Habitat, and the
Interactions section. I am
excited to continue to learn more in the field of Biology, in fact I
wonder what I plan on taking for my upper level BIO courses next
year at
UW La
Crosse? I may take a mycology course taught by Dr. Tom Volk, but
I should take a look at
Tom Volk's Fungi
to see if I would be interested in that field. If you would like to
contact me sent an email to
bradford.andr@uwlax.edu.
My
name is Alexis Barber and I am from Menomonie, WI. I am a Sophomore
at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse and a Biology major. I am
planning on continuing my education and going on to become a
Physicians Assistant. I am currently working as a CNA to gain
experience in the medical field. In my free time I enjoy many
outdoor activties such as running, roller blading and hiking the
bluffs. In the winter I like to go snowboarding at Mt. La Crosse. This website was created for our Organismal
Biology class in the 2013 Fall semester. I wrote the sections on
Classification,
Adaptation and
Reproduction. We worked on the
Home Page and
Interesting Facts page together. If you have any questions
please feel free to contact me at
