My name is Ariel Abel and I am a student at the University of Wisconsin La Crosse. My major is Bio-Med and I hope to be a Physician Assistant someday and work in Pediatric Oncology.  I am a passionate philanthropist in oncology work and have volunteered for lung cancer fundraisers as well as breast cancer fundraisers. I created this webpage for my Organismal Biology class taught by Dr. Greg Sandland. I picked the Freshwater Drum because I used to play percussion and I am fascinated that a fish can "drum"!
