My
name is Janessa Welke and
I am a freshman at the University of Wisconsin- La Crosse. This webpage
was part of a project for my Organismal Biology class and part of a
larger project found at
MultipleOrganisms.net.
I am majoring in Biology with a biomedical concentration and minoring in
chemistry. After completing my Bachelor's Degree, I plan on continuing
my education by going to graduate school and then working as a
Physician Assistant. I like spending my spare time outside. I enjoy
camping, fishing, and playing sports with friends and family. I chose to
research the Brook Stickleback because I enjoy fishing and thought it
would be interesting to learn more about one of the prevalent species of
