Get to Know Me

Hi my name is Erica Durham. I am currently a freshman at the University of Wisconsin- La Crosse. I am a Biology major with a concentration in biomedical science, with hopes of furthering my education and going to medical school. I am currently taking Organismal Biology, which is the reason I created this web page. We were told to choose a medicinal organism and then to construct a webpage about it. I originally grew up in Chattanooga, Tennessee, but I moved to Waukesha, Wisconsin my freshman year of high school and have lived their ever since.

I choose this Digitalis purpurea because of how diverse and interesting it is. Not only is it a plant found commonly in gardens because of its beauty, it also helps save lives.
