About Me
My name is Cole Keesler, and I am currently attending
University of
Wisconsin -La Crosse. I am studying to
become a Dentist, focusing on Biomedical Sciences. Dentists are abundant in my
family so my fate was decided before I was even born. In May of
2014, I will graduate with a major in Biomedical Sciences
(Biology major with a Chemistry minor). La Crosse couldn't be a
better fit for me and I love it here more and more everyday.
During the summer I live at home with my Mom and Dad in Neenah, WI.
I work at my Uncle's Orthodontic practice in the afternoons and
volunteer at Tri-County Dental Clinic in the mornings. When I am not
working, volunteering, or going to class, I enjoying life in the
great outdoors. Backpacking is by far my favorite thing to do. I
have hiked through many of Wisconsin and Upper Michigan's state
parks and national parks including Devil's Lake, Nicolet, The
Porcupine Mountains, Picture Rocks, and so many more. Among the many
trails in the U.S. I would like to Backpack, Triple Crown at
Yosemite National Park is on the very top of my list.
I chose to create this web page on the sweet potato because I really knew nothing about it before hand. In fact, before I started the grueling research process, I don't think I had ever eaten a sweet potato. Wow, has that changed. I have found a deep appreciation for this organism and I hope after viewing my page, you have too! To see where I received the information that you have read on my website, check out my references.
