My name is Lance Maki and I am attending the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse.  I’m majoring in Biology with a Biomedical concentration and hopefully someday will become a doctor; that is if I ever graduate.  I was born in St. Louis, but spent most of my life in Sun Prairie, Wisconsin.  Some of my favorite hobbies include hockey, lacrosse, golf, and playing Super Smash Bros on the N64 (Samus and Pikachu all the way!). 

Part of being a Biology major, I was required to take Organismal Biology.  The curriculum for this class included creating a webpage about an organism with medicinal properties of our choice.  Lucky for me Tom Volk is my professor, so creating a webpage on a fungus was fairly easy considering the amount of knowledge I gained from this class.
