About Me
Hello, my name is Bedania Blandon and I am a junior at University of Wisconsin La Crosse. Before attending UW La Crosse, I resided in a small town called Combined Locks. In 2010, I graduated from Kimberly High School and began my college career at UW Fox Valley before transferring to UW La Crosse. My intended major is Clinical Laboratory Science with a minor in Spanish. In my spare time I enjoy fishing, reading, shopping and spending time with family and friends. I love the outdoors and have a passion for animals. I thought the black mamba fit the theme of Spooky Organisms nicely as it is one of the most feared snakes around the world. The Black Mamba is unique to other snakes because of the content found in its venom. The venom of the black mamba contains peptides that act as pain inhibitors similar to those of opiates.
