Me!!!

Enough about this crazy awesome spider! I’d now like to introduce myself. My name is Dan Devine. I am currently a college student attending the University of Wisconsin- La Crosse, and this web page was an assignment for my organismal biology class. I am majoring in biomedical science with the intent to go on to pharmacy or physical therapy school. Wish me luck! I love snowboarding, pizza, spaghetti, and music. I listen to almost every kind of music out there. Especially the underground stuff that no one has heard of!



Interestingly enough I kind of got stuck doing the organism I am afraid of the most, the spider. Our intent for the projects this semester was to do a “spooky” organism. Well, what is spookier than an eight-legged thing that… well I don't know why I was afraid of them. It’s true that we’re most afraid of the unknown. The more research I did on this organism, the more my fear subsided, and instead my interest and curiosity grew. Now, don't get me wrong these things are pretty creepy! But I also have to admit Phidippus audax is also pretty incredible!
