Hi,
my name is Olivia Snodgrass. I am currently a sophomore here at the
University of Wisconsin-La Crosse majoring in Biology with
concentration in Environmental Science, and minoring in Chemistry.
My goal is to eventually do something in the field fo Environmental
Science and/or Toxicology.
I am originally from the city of Sun Prairie, located less than five
miles from Madison, Wisconsin. I love my hometown and unlike most
college kids who want to move as far away from their parents as
possible, I want to stay in Sun Prairie as long as I can. Being so
close to the capitol always gave me plenty of things to do on the
weekends.
When I'm not busy with school and work, I love being with friends,
shopping, walking around downtown Madison by the lake, being
outdoors, camping, hiking and swimming in the summer. I'm also big
into crime shows on TV with Castle and Bones being my two favorites.
I am creating this webpage for my Orginismal Biology class here at
UWL to be used as an informational tool for anybody interested in
the California Meadow Vole. I was responsible for the reproduction
and interactions topic pages. If you
have any questions you can contact me by email at

My name is Ashley Wambach and I am currently sophomore with a
Biology-Pre Medical major at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse.
My hometown is Wind Lake, Wisconsin which is about three hours south
east of La Crosse. Wind Lake is about a half hour south of the
Milwaukee area. There, I live with my mom, dad, dog, and my brother
when he also comes home from school. My brother Alex, who is 22
years old, is also a Biology Major though he attends the University
of Wisconsin-Oshkosh and plans to transfer in fall to continue on a
path towards a degree as a Pre-Physician’s assistant.
Before
attending college I was a competitive club gymnast from the age of 5
to 18 and traveled the country competing for my club. Gymnastics was
a true passion of mine next to my school work and instead of
competing at the college level I chose to focus on my studies.
I am
responsible for the habitat and form and function pages of our
website. If you have any more questions or comments you may contact
me through my school email
wambach.ashl@uwlax.edu. I hope you enjoy our page about the
California Meadow Vole as much as we have enjoyed putting this web
page together!
