My name is Amber Kahl, and I am a sophomore at the University of Wisconsin - La Crosse. My major is Bio-Med with a minor in Chemistry and in Nutrition.  In the future I hope to become a Bariatric PA. This web page I created was an assignment for my Organismal Biology class. I chose Lactobacillus bulgaricus  because I had read about the bacteria being beneficial to the digestive tract in one of my health magazines. Bariatrics has a lot to do with a healthy body, and nutrition is just one factor that attributes to that. Since the microorganism is part of nutrition and was helpful to the human body I thought I would research more into it. Plus I love Yoplait Whips yogurt!!!
