Stingrays live in marine and freshwater environments. The
Blue-Spotted Stingray is strictly a marine stingray and can be found
along the sandy bottoms and among coral reefs.
The largest distributions of the Taeniura lymma are in the
eastern and western portions of the Indian Ocean and the western-central
portion of the Pacific Ocean. |
|
Stingrays live among reefs like these with a variety of other marine
animals. Many fish, sea turtles, and sharks also inhabit reefs. |
